Mike Bess is a litigation partner in the Chicago office of Michael Best & Friedrich. His practice focuses on appellate advocacy and motion practice in complex commercial cases. Mike graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan, and earned his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law, magna cum laude. He clerked for the Honorable Terence T. Evans of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Mike is a member of the Seventh Circuit Bar Association and the State Bar of Illinois. He lives in Evanston with his wife and three children.
