Melissa E. Love Koenig
Melissa E. Love Koenig is an Associate Professor of Legal Writing at Marquette University Law School. Professor Love Koenig is an honors graduate of Wellesley College and Marquette Law School. Prior to joining the faculty, she was a civil litigator in Milwaukee and a law clerk to Justice Patrick Crooks of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. She has authored articles and materials for the Wisconsin Lawyer and the State Bar, and she is the past chair of the State Bar’s Appellate Practice Section. She is the co-author of The Moot Court Advisors’ Handbook and Ok, Google, Will Artificial Intelligence Replace Human Lawyering?, 102 Marquette Law Review 1269 (2019) (with Julie Oseid and Amy Vorenberg). She is a faculty advisor of Marquette Law School’s moot court program and engages in community outreach through Marquette’s Summer Youth Institute. She received the Milwaukee Association of Women Lawyers Community Involvement Award in 2013.
