Learn how to defuse tense situations with clients, potential clients, and others you encounter in your practice. Recognize red flags that may lead to confrontational situations, know what to do when a client won’t take no for an answer, and get recommendations on improving the security of your physical space. You’ll hear different perspectives and the considerations for each: small town vs. city, female vs. male, and working with clients in practice areas that lend themselves to more emotional volatility than others. Receive tips on protecting your physical safety, including a demonstration by a certified Taekwondo instructor.
