Learn from the examples of fifteen veteran trial attorneys as they argue a case before presiding judge Hon. Emily S. Mueller, Wisconsin ABOTA Chapter’s Trial Judge of the Year. Participating attorneys are ABOTA members, meaning they each have at least six years of experience as active trial lawyers and have each tried at least 25 jury trials over the course of their careers.

Case Synopsis
A young competitive bicyclist suffered serious, life-changing injuries when struck by an automobile while training. The defense will contend the accident was the fault of the bicyclist and the bicyclist’s father, who was overseeing the training. Significant issues surrounding the credibility of all parties will give the presenters the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in direct and cross-examination. The jury will be asked to assess both liability and damages.
