Christopher R. Bandt, Nash, Spindler, Grimstad & McCracken, LLP

Christopher R. Bandt is a partner in the Manitowoc office of Nash, Spindler, Grimstad & McCracken, LLP.  He has been with the firm since 1996.  Mr. Bandt received his B.B.A. in Marketing and Management from University of Wisconsin in 1992 (with Honors).  He received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1996.  Mr. Bandt’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation with a concentration on insurance defense.  He has tried cases and represents clients throughout the State of Wisconsin.  He is admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.  He has served on the faculty for the University of Wisconsin Law School Lawyering Skills course.  He is a board member for Wisconsin Defense Counsel currently serving on the Civil Jury Instruction Committee and Website/Webinar Committee.  He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys.  He has previously presented before the State Bar and routinely provides presentations to clients and peer groups.  He has also recently started providing mediation services. 

William R. Wick, Nash, Spindler, Grimstad & McCracken LLP

William R. Wick is a defense lawyer who concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice and general personal injury litigation.  He received his B.S. in 1970 from Carroll College, his M.P.A. in 1972 from the University of Southern California, and his J.D. in 1974 from Marquette University Law School.  Mr. Wick was certified by the American Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Specialist.  He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and a past chair of the Litigation Section.  He.  He has also been President of the Civil Trial Counsel of Wisconsin now known as the Wisconsin Defense Counsel.  Mr. Wick is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member.  He has also been President of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).  He has also been selected to be included in Best Lawyers in America for the last ten years.  Mr. Wick is a frequent lecturer on topics involving civil litigation.

Michael Fitzpatrick, Rock County Court Judge

Elected twice as a Judge in Rock County, Judge Michael Fitzpatrick presides over civil, family and criminal cases. He has also served on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals by special assignment through the Judicial Exchange Program. Judge Fitzpatrick has been elected by Wisconsin’s Judges to the Wisconsin Judicial Council, the Wisconsin Civil Jury Instruction Committee, and the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Trial Judges Association. Judge Fitzpatrick serves on the faculty for the Wisconsin Judicial College. He frequently conducts seminars for Judges and attorneys including three-day workshops on evidence for Judges. Judge Fitzpatrick was also recently appointed the Deputy Chief Judge of Dane, Rock, Green, and Lafayette Counties.

 

Prior to taking the Bench, Judge Fitzpatrick was a partner at the Brennan, Steil & Basting Law Firm where he chaired the Litigation Practice Group and handled intellectual property disputes, insurance coverage litigation, and product liability cases in federal and state courts throughout Wisconsin and the United States. While in private practice, Michael Fitzpatrick earned the highest possible rating for legal acumen and ethics from the legal rating service Martindale-Hubbell and was three times named one of Wisconsin’s Super Lawyers in business litigation by Milwaukee Magazine in the years before he took the Bench. Judge Fitzpatrick has also served two terms on the Wisconsin State Bar Committee on Professional Ethics, was President of the federal court bar association for this area of Wisconsin, has served as President of the Rock County Bar Association, and served on the Janesville Police and Fire Commission.

 

Theodore (Terry) V. Lyons, Jr., Meier, Wickhem, Lyons & Schulz, S.C.

Theodore (Terry) V. Lyons, Jr. is a partner at Meier, Wickhem, Lyons & Schulz, S.C., Janesville, Wisconsin. Lyons practices in general litigation, plaintiff and defense, and is an active mediator. Lyons graduated from University of Wisconsin Law School, cum laude, in 1978. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Rock County Bar Association, Wisconsin Defense Counsel, DRI, and Association of Defense Trial Attorneys. Lyons is a chapter author for the Law of Damages in Wisconsin and has lectured on trial topics and mediation, and has also taught trial preparation in the Lawyering Skills Course (General Practice) at the University of Wisconsin Law School. Lyons’ non-legal interests include travel, gardening, and Badger sports.

Rebecca Coffee Rebecca Coffee, Mastantuono and Coffee, SC

Rebecca Coffee is a partner at Mastantuono and Coffee, SC, in Milwaukee, where she practices criminal defense in state, federal, and municipal courts throughout Wisconsin. She has been included in the Rising Stars category in the Wisconsin Super Lawyers publication each year from 2008-2012, and in the Super Lawyer category in 2014 and 2015. Attorney Coffee was selected to the Wisconsin Law Journal's 2015 Women in the Law as a leader in the criminal defense bar. She is the immediate past-chair and current member of the Wisconsin State Bar Association Criminal Law Section, is a Board member of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association. Additionally, Ms. Coffee holds memberships with the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Wisconsin Association for Justice, the Milwaukee Bar Association and the Association for Women Lawyers. Ms. Coffee received her law degree in 2002 from Marquette University Law School. Prior to joining Mastantuono & Coffee in 2004, Ms. Coffee was a staff attorney with the American Bar Association Death Penalty Representation Project in Washington, D.C., providing support and resources for capital defenders handling death penalty cases.

Craig Mastantuono, Mastantuono & Coffee S.C.

Craig Mastantuono of Mastantuono & Coffee S.C., www.MilwaukeeCriminalLawyers.com specializes in defending people accused of crime in State and Federal courts in Wisconsin. He has been selected for inclusion each year from 2005 to 2015 in Law and Politics Magazine’s Super Lawyers publication, was recognized as a Leader in the Law by the Wisconsin Law Journal in 2008, and was honored as one of the United Way’s Philanthropic 5 in 2009 for his firm’s charitable support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. Randy Rozek, Rozek Law Offices, S.C.

Randy Rozek is the owner of Rozek Law Offices, S.C. and concentrates his practice on the representation of victims of serious, life-changing injuries. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse in Political Science and Philosophy and his law degree from the University of Wisconsin. He currently serves as the Treasurer of the American Association for Justice Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group and routinely lectures nationally on brain injury related topics and recommended actions for a successful trial outcome. Randy was recently awarded the Robert L. Habush Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Wisconsin Association for Justice.

 

Ann S. Jacobs, Jacobs Injury Law, S.C.

Ann S. Jacobs is the founder of Jacobs Injury Law, S.C.  She received her B.A. with distinction in 1989 from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1992 (cum laude).  She began her legal career as a public defender before changing her emphasis to personal-injury litigation.  Her practice includes personal injuries, medical malpractice, and nursing home abuse and neglect on behalf of injured persons.  She is a frequent speaker on the topics of litigation, subrogation, and ethics.  She is past-president of the Wisconsin Association for Justice and a founding member of their Women’s Caucus, and a board member for the Wisconsin Equal Justice Fund.  She coauthors chapters for the State Bar of Wisconsin PINNACLE books The Law of Damages and Advising Older Clients and Their Families.

Jason T. Studinski, Studinski Law, LLC

Jason T. Studinski is a founding partner of Studinski Law, LLC, a law firm focusing on cases in the areas of personal injury, car and truck wrecks, nursing home abuse and neglect, and insurance disputes. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Mr. Studinski was named a 2011 leader in the law by the Wisconsin Law Journal. He received the F. Jeremy P. Levinson, Halling & Cayo, S.C.

Jeremy P.
